Alligator hunter Christy Kroboth helped capture "Batman," an 8-foot male alligator. She said someone in the area was feeding the alligator.

"When an alligator shows up on someone's back porch or on their driveway, that's a kind of a good telltale sign that this alligator has been fed by people," Kroboth said. "When an alligator comes to your back porch, they're used to people. They're no longer afraid of people. They're smart, so they know people come in and out of doors. So this alligator ended up at the wrong house."
