HOUSTON – Houston police are asking for the public's help identifying the driver responsible for hitting and killing a 73-year-old man who was crossing the street in the 9000 block of Airport Boulevard.
On Sept. 21 around 8:30 p.m., police said the victim was crossing the street with the assistance of a walker when he was struck by an eastbound 2003-2015 green Nissan Titan.

The driver slowed down, but did not stop to render aid, according to police.
Police believe the man may have turned around and returned to the scene, but still did not stop to render aid.
The victim was taken to the hospital, where he died from his injuries.
Police believe the vehicle may have front-end damage.
Police said the person they are looking for is a white man with glasses, around 60-70 years old, heavy build with white hair, beard and mustache.
