2 burglars caught on video smashing ATM at sports bar

Reward of up to $5,000 offered

HOUSTON – Police and Crime Stoppers are asking for the public’s help in identifying two men who they say burglarized a sports bar in the 10500 block of the Katy Freeway early Wednesday morning.

The two unidentified men forcefully entered the bar around 4 a.m. carrying a crowbar and a sledgehammer. They damaged an office door to gain access to a safe and an ATM, according to Houston Police Department’s Burglary and Theft Division.

The men caused major damage to the safe and the ATM as they attempted to access the cash, authorities said. They were unsuccessful and left the bar.

The two men were captured on surveillance cameras as they approached the front door of the bar. They were wearing hooded sweatshirts, masks and gloves to hide their identities.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the charging or arrest of the men.
