During the course of the chase, the pickup traveled north of Houston into Montgomery County. Williams then turned south and entered the Hardy Toll Road and Highway 59, traveling past Bush Intercontinental Airport before crashing into two other vehicles.
"We were coming ffrom around this corner. We stopped right here. That's when I saw the truck coming. I believe one of his tires went flat. He just came straight and hit us on the passenger side," Alfonso Mendez, who was in one of the vehicles that was hit by the suspect, said.

After the crash, officers could be seen with their guns drawn, escorting victims of the crash away from the scene. Officers then moved in, shattered the windows of the pickup involved in the chase and pulled Williams out of the vehicle. Williams was cuffed and placed into a police cruiser.
Victims of the crash were being treated by medical personnel at a nearby gas station.
It was not immediately clear what prompted the chase.
Williams is charged with evading arrest.
