Man wanted for aggravated robbery of gas station, police say

The robbery took place in late October

HOUSTON – Crime Stoppers and Jersey Village Police Department investigators need the public's help in identifying a man responsible for an aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon. 

On Oct. 20,  at approximately 4:40 p.m. the suspect entered a gas station, located in the 17400 block of the Northeast Freeway in Houston. The man approached the service counter pretending to purchase a bottle of water. He then lifted his shirt, displayed a black semi-automatic handgun, and demanded money out of the cash register. The clerk complied with the suspect's demands and handed the suspect cash out of the register. The suspect fled the scene in an unknown make and model, white sedan according to a release from the Houston Crime Stoppers.

The suspect is described as a male, 30-50 years old, 5 foot 7 inches to 5 foot 11 inches tall, and weighing between 150 -170 pounds. 

He was wearing a light colored, long sleeve polo shirt with light pants, a red and black University of Houston baseball cap, and blue tinted aviator sunglasses at the time of the robbery.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information leading to the charging and/or arrest of the man in this case. Information may be reported by calling 713-222-TIPS (8477) or online on their website.
