One in custody after ATF raid in NW Harris County

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives arrested two people Tuesday morning on drug trafficking charges, according to a spokeswoman for the ATF.

Angel Soliz, Jr. and Angel Soliz, Sr. were arrested early Tuesday morning in the 10000 block of Gold Point Drive.

Agents also served a search warrant at the location, ATF spokeswoman Nicole Strong told Channel 2 Investigates.

A Porsche, Mercedes SUV and a pickup truck were all parked in the driveway of the home.

Agents could be seen confiscating bags containing cash. Several more bags of items were removed from the home. At least one man in handcuffs was placed into the back of a patrol car.

According to the indictment, The Soliz's distributed crystal ice/methamphetamine from Texas to Virginia and Kentucky.

The arrests are part of a roundup taking place in four states, Strong said. Law enforcement also took action in Virginia, but she could not immediately identify the other two states.
