Men use counterfeit credit card, charge over $6K, deputies say

FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas – Two men used a counterfeit credit card more than 60 times in various cities throughout Texas, charging upwards of $6,000, according to the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office.

The Collin County Sheriff’s Office near Dallas alerted the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office that two of those fraudulent transactions took place in Fort Bend County.

Deputies said the transactions took place from July 17 to July 25.

Video surveillance shows the men completing a transaction at Pilot Travel Center, located in the 500 block of South 1st Street in Beasley.

They also used the card in Willis, Houston, Laredo, San Antonio and Corpus Christi, deputies said.

The first man is described as Hispanic with a medium build, possibly in his late 30s or early 40s. He has a full sleeve of tattoos on his left arm.

The second man is described as Hispanic with a thin build, possibly in his 40s.
