Mayor Annise Parker may teach at Harvard after final term

HOUSTON – Houston Mayor Annise Parker announced Monday what her potential plans will be when her final term ends.

"I don't have a specific plan yet," Parker said in a statement. "I have been in discussions with Harvard University about a fellowship for the spring semester. I am under consideration and am evaluating this exciting possibility, but there have been no final decisions. I hope it works out because it could be a nice transition while I look for something more permanent."
