Man found shot to death in apartment complex parking lot

Police found 20 shell casings around the body of a man who had been shot to death in southwest Houston.

Houston police were called to the Westwood II apartments at 9300 Country Creek St. on a report of a man’s body lying in the street Friday at 7:48 p.m., officials said.

Police said when they arrived they found a man who had been shot multiple times. They transported him to Memorial Hermann hospital where he later died, according to authorities.

Police said they have very little to go on because there were no witnesses, motives or suspects.

Homicide detective have investigated the scene; however, they have not yet released the victim’s identity.
