MONTGOMERY COUNTY – The Conroe Fire Department and the Caney Creek Fire Department responded to a garage fire on Sandra Lane in the River Plantation subdivision on Friday.
After quickly controlling the fire, firefighters found a dead man in the garage. Officials say the man was in his 70s.
The Montgomery County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
