FRIENDSWOOD, Texas – Thomas Michael Data, 29, was arrested on Feb.21 around 5:40 p.m., according to Friendswood police.
Data is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon stemming from a road-rage incident on Dec. 22.

Police were searching for Data after he was accused of throwing crackers at a driver, then attacking his car.
Investigators said Data threw crackers at a driver during a road-rage incident on Winding Road near Broadway Street.
During the incident, Data’s cellphone fell into the man’s car, according to police.
Data tracked his phone and then smashed the windshield and damaged the man’s vehicle with a baseball bat, injuring the man with broken glass, according to investigators.
The man recorded the attack on his cellphone and gave the video to police.
An anonymous tipster later identified Data, and the victim identified Data in a photo lineup. A warrant was issue for Data’s arrest on Jan. 25.
Police believed Data was homeless and could have be hiding out in Ohio.
Data was stopped for a traffic-related violation at the intersection of Moore Road and W. Parkwood Avenue at the time of his capture.
He was in a truck with no license plates.
Data identified himself during the traffic stop and he was arrested without incident.
His bond was set at $40,000.
