Man admits to having sex with dogs before killing them

HOUSTON – Arthur Kelvin Lovell has been charged with the felony offense of cruelty to animals after a March 10 display at a former place of employment.

According to court records and witnesses, Lovell attempted to sell a dog at a business where he used to work. When no one wanted to buy the dog, Lovell choked the dog and stabbed it multiple times. He also threatened to leave and come back to kill everyone present.

Officers saw the injured dog and then the man confessed to doing the same thing to other dogs after having sex with them.

He explained to officers how he would preserve the skulls of the dogs he killed in order to keep them as trophies.
