HOUSTON – Police said a man bought a stolen truck with a fake title from another man on March 15.
The buyer saw a posting on Craigslist for a 2015 Chevrolet Colorado for $8,900. The buyer and the seller agreed to meet in the 500 block of Cypress Station Drive in northwest Harris County, according to police.

The seller (pictured) only spoke Spanish, according to the buyer.
After agreeing on the purchase price, police said the buyer and the seller agreed to meet later to exchange money.
The buyer and seller met up later that night at a business located at U.S. 290 and FM 1960. The seller was captured on surveillance video at the business.
The buyer paid $8,000 in cash for the truck and was given a Texas Certificate of Title for the 2015 Chevrolet pickup, according to police.
The buyer later found out the title was fake and the truck was reported stolen from a local dealership, police said.
Police described the seller as a Hispanic man in his late teens or early 20s, with short black hair. He wore a red shirt and black jeans, and only speaks Spanish.
