Blake Kendall Wright is charged with aggravated assault.

The woman told police that she was driving on Fry Road in Katy with her boyfriend, her daughter and her son on June 19 when a gold or champagne-colored vehicle veered into her lane. She said she honked at the driver to prevent an accident.

Court documents state she pulled up alongside the vehicle when traffic slowed and saw a man, who she claimed was wearing a law enforcement uniform, pointing a gun at her.

The victim's boyfriend was asleep in the passenger seat. Her daughter hid her face and did not see the man's face, but her son witnessed the event.

The woman called police. She said she was able to get the license plate of the vehicle before it turned into a nearby subdivision.

The victim and her son were able to identify Wright as the driver, according to the affidavit.

Police said Wright, 27, admitted to owning a gun and being involved in a road rage incident with a woman on the same date, but he denied that her pointed a gun at her.

His bond was set at $30,000.
