SUGAR LAND, Texas – Police are searching for a group of men wanted for the armed robbery of a Whataburger in the Sugar Land area.
In the early morning hours of Jan. 4, Sugar Land police said four black men entered the Whataburger at 340 State Highway 6, then two checked the restrooms and front doors, while the other two entered the kitchen and displayed handguns.
According to police, one of the men pointed a gun to the restaurant manager's head and forced the manager to open the cash registers. The men then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.
No one was injured.
The first man was wearing a black hoodie, black pants and black shoes. The second man was wearing a gray hoodie, red basketball shorts with white stripes and red and white shoes. The third man wore a red hoodie, white shoes and black pants, and the fourth man had on a red hoodie with the number nine on the back, camouflage pants and black and white Nike shoes.
