Local high school dance teams perform at Super Bowl LI halftime

HOUSTON – Several local high school dance teams got the opportunity of a lifetime as they took the field during half-time at NRG Stadium Sunday night.

The group included dancers from Westside High School in Houston, hand-picked to perform alongside Lady Gaga.

"Out of all the opportunities we've had this is probably the most incredible opportunity," Baylee Nelson, a senior at Westside.

The girls said Gaga was very warm and encouraging.

"I got so close I was like right by the stage during the performance, it was amazing,"

Dancers from Katy's Morton Ranch, Dobie in Pasadena and Barbers Hill in Mont Belvieu also participation in the performance.
