Man shot during altercation at strip center near Klein

KLEIN, Texas – A man shot another man Thursday afternoon during an altercation at a strip center near Kelin, deputies said.
The shooting was reported about 1:30 p.m. near the intersection of Stuebner Airline and Louetta roads.
Harris County investigators said that a man was sitting in his car when another man walked up to the car and punched him in the face. The man who was punched pulled out his gun and shot the other man.
Video from Sky 2 showed at least a dozen emergency vehicles and the ambulance helicopter at the scene.
Nearby Klein High School was not locked down because the shooter was in custody, according to officials at the Klein Independent School District.
