MONT BELVIEU, Texas – A large flare was seen at an industrial plant in Mont Belvieu on Friday.
Flames could be seen for miles as an Enterprise plant burned a flare at FM 1942 near Hatcherville Road.
No injuries are reported and authorities said the flare was under control.
There is no shelter in place and the facility is not on fire, according to authorities.

The fire was reported in the west brine storage area, according to the company. Brine is used to pull product out of underground storage caverns.
There was also a release of butane and a flare was activated as a precaution, the company said.
The fire is contained.
