Katy ISD proposes new attendance boundaries for 2017-18 school year
No description foundKATY, Texas – The Katy Independent School District has proposed an attendance boundary modification for the 2017-18 school year.
The district said the modification will help it manage growth in the school district and also help balance the number of students at each school.
The timeline of the changes is as follows:
October 2016 - Demographic update on enrollment and growth provided to the board of trustees.
November 2016 - Preliminary ABM recommendation provided to the board of trustees at a work study meeting.
November 2016 - Public comment on the preliminary recommendation. This will include a feedback survey.
December 2016 - Final ABM recommendation provided to the board of trustees for discussion/action.
