Brief chase ends with four people arrested in southwest Houston

HOUSTON – Four people were arrested Monday after a short chase in southwest Houston.

We're told the suspects drove to their house off Castleview Lane and Blue Ridge Road and tried to hide inside.

Neighbors who live nearby didn't know what was going on when at least four people were handcuffed and put into patrol cars.

One resident said this type of activity isn't uncommon in the area and she's worried about the safety of those who live in the neighborhood.

"My biggest concern is kids walking around," she said. "You're really concerned for them because they don't know what they are walking into."

Houston police say everything started with a routine traffic stop at West Fuqua Street and Blue Ridge.

Investigators say instead of stopping, the people in the car left the scene but only went a couple of blocks away before stopping.

Officers say they ran into a home but cops arrested them and when they did, we're told officers found a stash of guns as well as drugs.

Meanwhile, residents say police have been to this home nearly a half dozen times over the past few months and just hope things calm down
