HOUSTON – Houston is 166 days away from Super Bowl LI, but the city is already buzzing. The Houston Super Bowl host committee has been promoting the big game, but one tweet didn't go over so well with Houstonians.

The Houston Super Bowl Twitter account shared a photo of a rendering showing the set up at Discovery Green where Super Bowl LIVE will take place. The rendering looked fun and exciting, but some people didn't like the fact that the committee chose to put the letters, HTX,  rather than HOU on the George R. Brown Convention Center.

"Is 'HTX' actually being used in marketing? I don't know anybody that refers to Houston in that way," Twitter user @SteveinLC wrote.

"We use HOU. You know, same as your Twitter handle," Twitter user @CCStrickland wrote.

"Seems like you made a mistake," @hotwiredheart wrote.

The Houstorian Twitter account replied to the Houston Super Bowl's tweet claiming HTX is just ripoff of Austin's ATX.

"Real Houstonians use HOU," the Houstorian wrote.
