Houston rapper Paul Wall headlines concert on eve of UH-Oklahoma game

The Suffers also performing on AdvoCare Texas Kickoff game weekend

HOUSTON – Houston's own Paul Wall and The Suffers will be among those performing on the weekend of the University of Houston's big football game against the University of Oklahoma.

Wall, the Grammy award nominee, will perform at the Bud Light Party in the Park on Friday, Sept. 2 at Bagby Park in Midtown.

The event will also include visits by cheerleaders, mascots and football legends from UH and Oklahoma.

On Saturday, Sept. 3, award-winning 10-piece ensemble The Suffers will perform in the Bud Light Plaza at NRG Stadium. Houston rapper Bun B will also make an appearance. The Bud Light Fan Fest will begin at 7 a.m.

Admission is free for both events at Bagby Park and Bud Light Plaza.

The Houston Cougars and Oklahoma Sooners will face off in the AdvoCare Texas Kickoff game on Saturday, Sept. 3 at NRG Stadium. The game kicks off at 11 a.m.
