Suspected bank robber wanted by police

Robber told the employee not to trigger the alarm, police say

HOUSTON – Houston police are looking for a man who robbed a northwest Houston bank.

According to investigators, a man walked into the bank on Grand Plaza Drive, approached a bank teller and demanded money from the cash register.

He also told the employee not to trigger the panic alarm.

The man left after the bank employee quickly complied with his demands by handing him an undisclosed amount of money.

The man is said to have had a goatee, be approximately 5 foot 10 inches to 6 feet tall, and weigh around 175 pounds. The robber was wearing a red sweatshirt with front pockets, khaki shorts, and white shoes.
