HOUSTON – A police chase came to a dramatic end in northwest Houston Friday when the suspect crashed.
Police say a man stole a car from a person at a gas station on Shepherd Drive.

The driver took off in the stolen car, but police later saw him in the vehicle and tried to pull him over.
Authorities say he sped off and led them on a chase. The chase ended about 15 minutes later at West 34th Street and T.C. Jester Boulevard.
The thief was then arrested.
