"Today" show's Savannah Guthrie wasn't a big fan of the commercial.

The commercial starts off with a very sad tone. It shows an elderly man around his house, with messages from his family telling him they would not be joining him for the holiday playing in the background.

"I just wanted to call and let you know that we can't make it for Christmas this year. We'll try again next year," his daughter said in the message.

It then showed him eating at the dinner table alone. The next scene showed his family being alerted of his death. It was of course a somber moment, but when the family showed up at his house, they were surprised to find a beautiful dinner table setup. And here's the twist, the man is alive.

"How else could I have brought you all together?" he asked.

The commercial ended with the phrase, "Time to come home."

Reaction on social media has been mixed.
