Reward offered in Fort Bend County credit card theft case

FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas – Police are looking for the thief who stole a man's wallet at a 24-Hour Fitness and charged almost $2,000 on his cards. 

According to Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers, the incident happened on Oct. 9, 2014, at the fitness center in the 5200 block of State Highway 99. The burglar then used the stolen credit cards at the Target in the 23700 block of Westheimer Parkway and the HEB in the 6700 block of South Fry Road, both in the Katy area.

The thief is described as a white man, in his late 20s or early 30s. He is about 5 feet 8 inches and was wearing a purple pullover knit shirt, khaki pants, black shoes and a green baseball cap with sunglasses on the top of the cap's brim. 

Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $5,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of and the filing of charges against the thief.
