Children's Museum of Houston channels the force with 'Stars Wars' event

HOUSTON – "Star Wars" fans young and adult gathered at the Children’s Museum of Houston Saturday morning for out-of-this-world fun.

Families dressed up as their favorite characters from the science fiction movies and participated in arts-and-crafts activities before meeting the infamous Darth Vader, Wookie warrior Chewbacca and the beautiful Princess Leia. And course, a few storm troopers were there to shakes hands.

Throughout the morning, children made their very own light sabers, Yoda ears, Leia buns and Chewbacca dolls.

Droids and the 501st Legion villains were also appeared at various time to join in the fun.

The event was held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
