Brian Loncar, 'Strong Arm' Dallas attorney, dies of cocaine overdose

DALLAS – Brian Loncar, a Dallas attorney who gained notoriety for his television advertisements branding him as the “Strong Arm,” died from a cocaine overdose, according to officials.

Loncar, 56, was found dead in early December, about a week after the suicide of his 16-year-old daughter.

The Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office said Thursday that Loncar died from the “toxic effect of cocaine.” Secondary causes of death were listed as hypertension and heart disease. His death was ruled accidental.

Loncar’s firm has offices across Texas.
