Bicyclist struck, killed by vehicle during hit-and-run, police say

HOUSTON – A bicyclist was hit and killed by a vehicle Saturday during a hit-and-run incident in southwest Houston, police said.

The incident was reported at 9:15 p.m. in the 6100 block of Clarewood Drive.

Houston police said Pablo Trisoj-Vasquez, 33, was riding a bicycle when a driver of a silver sedan ran a stop sign at Clarewood Drive and Ashcroft Street and struck him. Police same Trisoj-Vasquez was thrown from his bike and struck a parked Toyota Tundra pickup truck.

Police said the silver sedan left the scene.

Trisoj-Vasquez was taken to Ben Taub General Hospital, where he later died on Wednesday.
