"The device is an overlay of the card reader mounted on the ATM," the post on social media reads. "We work closely with the location when such devices are found, whether on (ATMs) or fuel pumps, or anything else. Most times, there are slight indicators of the illegal scanner, and they are often the same color as the original panel. If you believe the device is or may be an illegal attachment, do not use the machine, and notify law enforcement immediately (24/7). The crook most often places the device covertly and picks it up in the same manner days later."

The skimming device was found at the bank ATM on West Baker Road on Saturday.

Police said the alleged man who put the skimming device on the machine is a young black man who was wearing a scarf and a ball cap.

According to police, the man also was wearing a large faced watch with a leather band on his left hand and a dark colored bracelet also on his left hand.

He was driving a white van, possible a Ford or Chrysler, without a license plate, officials said.
