WILLIS, Texas – A 69-year-old man with a history of medical conditions was found by family members around 10 a.m. Monday at the Lock Ness Marina RV Resort on Calvary Road in Willis. He was found in Lake Conroe near a boat dock, authorities said.
Family members said they last saw the victim around 9 a.m., found him in the water and began administering CPR until EMS arrived, according to a release from authorities. The life-saving techniques were unsuccessful, police said.

The victim and family were visiting Lake Conroe, and reside in Durango, Colorado.
This was the first reported drowning on Lake Conroe for 2017.
