FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas – A woman in her 50s told police she was robbed by five men inside a home where she was visiting on Tuesday in the 10900 block of Ashland Bridge Lane.
The woman, who is from out of the country and was visiting her son, told police the five men entered the home by kicking in the back door and forced her to get on the floor. They stole money, jewelry, the woman's cell phone and the her prescription glasses, according to police.
The woman told police that the men were being directed by a woman on speaker phone. The woman on the phone was telling the men where to look. The intruders were searching for something specific, but police said they don't know what it was.
The woman told police that one of the men was about 6 feet 2 inches tall and had a gun. The victim told police another man was wearing a hoodie and one of the men had no cover. The man who had no cover had a lot of tattoos on his neck and shoulders.
The victim was not able to give descriptions of the other suspects.
The victim told police that two men had guns, although police said there were no reports of shots fired on the initial call slip.
The woman ran to a neighbor to call 911.
Neighbors said surveillance cameras did not capture any images of the suspect
