32 arrested in undercover prostitution operation by Pct. 4 deputies

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Over 30 people were arrested by Harris County Precinct 4 deputies during Super Bowl week, according to a release from Constable Mark Herman’s Office on Tuesday.

The arrests were a result of an undercover operation "focused on suppressing the supply and demand for prostitution near schools, daycares, residential and business areas within Precinct 4."

As a result of the operation, 32 people were arrested and charged with prostitution. Several of these people also had preexisting warrants. Three of the men had Immigration and Customs Enforcement deportation orders.

“The goal of these and similar police operations is to dampen and ultimately eliminate the blatant prostitution on the streets near our neighborhoods and business districts of Harris County, Precinct 4,” Herman said.
