Girl, 3, falls from rail on cruise ship, boat returns to Galveston

GALVESTON – A Carnival cruise ship had to return to Galveston after a 3-year-old girl fell 12-15 feet from a railing on the vessel.

The girl fell from the railing to the deck below.

The ship returned to port and the girl was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries, but she was responsive.
