The man’s girlfriend woke up and heard a commotion outside, deputies said.

She walked outside to find the men beating up her boyfriend while demanding money from him.

According to authorities, the woman began to walk toward the commotion and that is when one of the men pulled out a gun and shot three times at the woman.

A bullet grazed the woman’s head. She was transported to the hospital in stable condition, according to officials.
Her boyfriend was treated at the scene and released.

According to Harris County deputies, the three men got away, but they believe they have a good idea who these men are because they may have been involved in past incidents in the same area.

The men got away with unknown amount of money, deputies said.
