The men were arrested when they showed up for what they believed to be a meeting for sex with a minor they had contacted online, according to police.

The men were charged with the felony of online solicitation of a minor. Some were also charged with the felony of attempted sexual assault of a child.

The Waller County District Attorney’s Office and the Houston-Metro Internet Crimes against Children Task Force said they will continue to aggressively pursue those who seek to victimize children through the internet and social networking apps.

“I especially want to thank Mr. David Henke of Waller County Land Company for lending us a home to conduct these undercover operations," Elton Mathis, Waller County district attorney, said. "Without the support of citizens like him that take the time to get involved with their local government, our jobs would be much harder. Special thanks also goes to Sheriff Glenn Smith and his staff for supporting the office in this endeavor and lending deputies and resources to assist us.”
