HOUSTON – Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the arrest of three people accused of robbing a couple outside a Houston business.
On Nov. 11 at about 1 p.m., a man and woman followed two people into a business in the 9800 block of Harwin Drive, police said. When the couple left the business, they were approached by another man who was armed with a handgun. Investigators said the armed robber grabbed the necklace and wallet from the male victim. The other thief took a wallet and necklace from the female victim. They then hopped into an older mini-van driven by the woman.
The thieves are believed to be responsible for at least eight similar aggravated robberies in the area, police said.
One of the thieves are described as a black male, 35 to 45 years old, 6 feet tall, 180 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. The second thief is described as a black male, 30-40 years old, 6 feet tall, 180 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. The woman is described as 30 years old, between 5 feet 2 inches and 5 feet 4 inches, weighing between 160 and 190 pounds.
