Authorities raid pastor's home in Katy

KATY, Texas – A shock was in store for neighbors in a Katy neighborhood Friday morning when law enforcement raided a pastor's home on a warrant for child porn possession.

The neighborhood is calm now, but early Friday morning residents who live on Sentry Park and Smokey Valley said there was a lot of commotion. Patrol cars and several agencies blocked the area.

Property records show that the man who lives inside of the home is Timothy Douglas. When we asked him questions he only said, "No comment."

Douglas is listed as lead pastor for Creekside Community Church in Katy, according to the church's website. Church services appear to be held at Katy ISD's Woodcreek Junior High School on Sundays.

Other family members also live at the same address, according to public records, and neighbor accounts.

A spokesperson with the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office told us detectives with the Houston Metro Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force are currently searching a computer that officers seized from inside of the home in the 3400 block of Sentry Park.

It was not immediately clear Friday who owned or used that computer.

FBCSO released a statement which read, "Early Friday morning, members of the Houston Metro Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC) executed a warrant concerning promotion possession of child pornography."

No one has been arrested and no charges have been filed, but the investigation is still ongoing.

According to neighbors, both the homeowner and another man were questioned by officers and then released.

Residents said they are also concerned because the owner of this home is a pastor in the Katy area.
