2 men arrested in robbery, shooting of teen in Fort Bend County

FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas – Two men have been arrested in connection with the robbery and shooting of a teenager in Fort Bend County.

A 17-year-old boy was shot on Dec. 6 in the Great Oaks South subdivision near FM 1464. Investigators have not revealed what was stolen.

The men accused of robbing and shooting the teen are John Michael Pierce, 21, Richmond and Ricardo Castillo, 24, Houston.

Investigators with the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office and the Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force arrested Pierce on Dec. 10.

Houston police officers arrested Castillo on unrelated narcotics charges in addition to the outstanding aggravated robbery charges in Fort Bend County on Dec. 15.

The 17-year-old victim is still being treated in the Texas Medical Center. He is expected to recover.
