HOUSTON – One person was killed Wednesday and another was injured in a shooting in southeast Houston, according to police.
The incident was reported about 12:10 p.m. at 5000 Van Fleet Street.
According to Houston police, someone reported hearing gunshots in the area.
Amber Flores, 19, was found dead at the scene, police said.
Flores was a passenger in the vehicle when she was fatally shot. The male driver was taken to the hospital in unknown condition, police said.
