Pump Patrol: Save 34 cents a gallon

HOUSTON – The average cost of a gallon of gas in Houston on Monday was $3.78. But some stations around town sold regular gas for 34 cents less.

The following three stations sold gas for less on Monday, according to www.GasBuddy.com.

• Murphy USA, North Fry Road near Plantation Grove Trail: $3.54
• Shell, North Loop East near Homestead: $3.63
• Stripes, F.M. 2920 near F.M. 2978: $3.65
