Pump Patrol: Save 27 cents a gallon

HOUSTON – The average cost of a gallon of gas in Houston Friday was $3.56. But some stations around town sold regular gas for 27 cents less.

The following three stations sold gas for less on March 2, according to www.GasBuddy.com.

• Spring: Citgo on Kuykendahl and Hollywick: $3.29
• Northwest Houston: Fuel Depot on FM 529 and Eldridge: $3.37
• Friendswood: Citgo on West Parkwood Avenue and Sun Meadow Boulevard: $3.39
