Pump Patrol: Save 23 cents a gallon

HOUSTON – The average cost of a gallon of gas in Houston is $3.10. But some stations around town sold regular gas for 23 cents less.

The following three stations sold gas for less on Monday, according to www.GasBuddy.com.

• CITGO, West Main & Hwy 146, La Porte: $2.89
  
• Buc-ee's, Hwy 35 & FM 517, Alvin: $2.84
  
• H-E-B, Gulf Fwy & FM 646, League City: $2.83
