Pump Patrol: Save 13 cents a gallon

HOUSTON – The average cost of a gallon of gas in Houston is $3.30. But some stations around town sold regular gas for 13 cents less.

The following three stations sold gas for less on Friday, according to www.GasBuddy.com.

• Stripes, F.M. 2920 near Meadowhill Drive: $3.17
• Sam's Club, El Dorado Boulevard near Gulf Freeway: $3.18
• Shell, F.M. 529 near Fry Road in Katy: $3.19
