A new emoji will finally put redheads who use iPhones on the same level as brunettes, blondes, and other hair colors that have been celebrated with a tiny animated head.
The Daily Mail reports the big bosses in Silicon Valley are set with the sole purpose of adding a redhead emoji to iPhones as early as next week.
An online petition was started in Scotland after redheads were left out of the most recent Apple emoji release last month.
Supporters of the redhead emoji movement say over 20,000 signatures have been added to the petition.
While a redhead emoji has been available for Android devices since 2015, the same option has not been afforded to the millions who own an iPhone.
But that will all change soon... hopefully.
