Report: Lady Gaga in talks to play Super Bowl in Houston

NFL says they're in talks with many artists

HOUSTON – Lady Gaga is keeping her "poker face" on despite rumors that she is in negotiations for one of the biggest performances of the year.

According to Billboard, the popstar may be in talks for the Super Bowl LI halftime performance.

However, when asked about the negotiations, the NFL said it had not made a final decision.

"We have had conversations with several fantastic artists about the Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show. However, at this point we do not have a final decision," said the NFL representative. "We’re happy there is so much excitement about the show."

Twitter has gone gaga with fans, better known as "Little Monsters," tweeting their reaction to the rumors.

Gaga has had a busy year with an Oscar nomination in 2015 and a Golden Globe win in 2016.  She performed the National Anthem at the 2016 Super Bowl which might explain why the NFL would consider her for the 2017 halftime performance.

Luckily for Gaga’s "Monsters," they can wait until the final decision is made with the recent release of her song, "Perfect Illusion."
