An area of low pressure moves in from the west, and it has the potential to bring heavy rain both Tuesday and Wednesday.

As the low pressure system slowly moves across Texas/Oklahoma, we’ll continue to see scattered storms and isolated severe thunderstorms fire up Tuesday afternoon.

Some areas north and east of Houston are ripe for flash flooding since they saw the bulk of the rain late last week.

Wednesday’s forecast:

Both days have a threat for street flooding with 2″-6″ possible in some areas. The last of the heavy waves looks like it will make a mess of Wednesday morning’s drive in.

Once we get through Wednesday, we’ll have a fairly consistent forecast with morning temperatures in the mid-60s and afternoon highs in the 80s.
