LIVE RADAR: Severe weather threat bringing risk of strong wind gusts
HOUSTON – Another round of showers and storms is expected today.
MORE: Hot start to Saturday, but heavy storms are still expected!
Some of these storms could become strong to severe so it’s important you have a way to get weather information. Right now, models show storms starting around 1 p.m. and clearing out around 9 p.m.
However, some parts of southeast Texas will see heavy storms and stronger threats of wind gusts early on. For example, a Flash Flood Warning has been issued for Jackson County until 11:45 a.m. and a severe thunderstorm warning was issued for Jackson and Matagorda County until 11 a.m.
You can track the storms with our live radar.
