Another western storm system moves in Monday so plan on extra time for driving! Look for morning rush hour showers lasting into the early afternoon.

Hopefully the morning showers can limit our instability for the afternoon, if not severe weather is possible. The cold front will move through our area starting with the NW counties as early as 2PM.

There is a lower severe weather threat (level 2 out of 5). A few of the storms could be strong to severe with all threats on the table (damaging winds, hail and a tornado or two).

There is a low flood threat (level 1 out of 4). Although the flood threat is low – we saw widespread 1-4″ of rainfall last week, which means any heavy rainfall could lead to some runoff and street flooding.
