Shell Houston Open tees off; check leaderboard
HOUSTON – The Shell Houston Open teed off Thursday morning, one day after rain canceled the pro-am event.
On the PGA Tour, 29 players at the SHO are already in the Masters.
It would have been 30, except that Dustin Johnson decided to take the week off after winning the Dell Technologies Match Play for his third straight victory.
That's good news for the 144 players at the Golf Club of Houston, specifically for the 115 players who need a victory to get into Augusta National.
The Masters field is set, so the only way in now is to win the Houston Open.
